Delete your account

You can delete your PURPL account yourself, from inside the product, in under a minute. No email, no waiting, no questions. This page says where the button is, what is removed, what is kept, and what happens to a subscription.

1. In the web app

  1. Open purpl.app/app and sign in.
  2. Go to You (your avatar in the rail, or the You tab on a phone).
  3. Scroll to the settings list and choose Delete account.
  4. Type DELETE and confirm.

2. In the iOS or Android app

  1. Open the You tab.
  2. Under Session, choose Delete account.
  3. Confirm in the dialog.

3. By email

If you cannot sign in, write to info@purpl.app from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will do it and confirm back to you.

4. What is removed

Deletion is immediate and permanent. It removes, from the live database:

  • your profile and sign-in identity;
  • every session you uploaded, including the telemetry inside it;
  • every AI report, and every public share link you created (the links stop working);
  • your Race Engineer chat memory;
  • your races, goals, driver name aliases and data exports.

Backups exist for disaster recovery only. A deleted account is never restored from them.

5. What is kept

  • Invoices and payment records, for as long as tax and accounting law requires. They live with our payment processor and carry no telemetry.
  • Anonymous product events. Usage counts stay, but they are no longer linked to you.

6. Subscriptions

  • Subscribed on the web (Stripe). Deleting the account cancels the subscription at the same moment. You are not charged again. If the cancellation cannot be confirmed, the account is not deleted and the app tells you so.
  • Subscribed through the App Store. Apple manages that subscription and we cannot cancel it for you. Cancel it first in Settings › your name › Subscriptions, then delete the account. Deleting the account alone does not stop Apple billing.

7. Want a copy first?

The You screen in the web app has a data export. Download it before you delete: once the account is gone, so is the export.
