Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Solox LTD. for the use of PURPL. Read them before you subscribe. They are written to be understood, not to be impressive.

1. Who you are contracting with

PURPL is a trading name. The company that provides the service, sells the subscription and issues your invoice is:

"We", "us" and "our" below mean Solox LTD.. "You" means the person using PURPL.

2. What PURPL is — and what it is not

PURPL reads the telemetry your kart's data logger records and turns it into analysis: lap and corner breakdowns, delta traces, a theoretical-best lap, GPS replay, and AI-written coaching reports based on your own session.

It is an analysis tool. It is not a safety system, not a scrutineering aid, and not a substitute for your own judgement on track. The coaching output is generated by a language model from your data and can be wrong. Nothing PURPL tells you obliges you to drive in any particular way, and you remain responsible for your own driving, your kart and your setup decisions.

3. Your account

You sign in with Google. We receive your email address and basic profile information from that sign-in and nothing else — no access to your Google account beyond that. Keep your sign-in secure; anything done through your account is treated as done by you.

You must be at least 18 to enter into this agreement and to pay for a plan. Karting is a sport with young drivers: a minor may use PURPL only through an account held and supervised by a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf and is responsible for the account.

4. Plans, prices and billing

There is a free plan and there are paid plans. What each includes, and the current prices, are on the pricing page. Pro is €12/mo at the time of writing.

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions, billed in advance and renewing automatically each month.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — Stripe does, as our payment processor.
Prices are in euro. Any taxes that apply are shown at checkout and added to the price where required.
We can change prices. If a change affects your subscription, we will tell you before it applies to you, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

5. Your data stays yours

The telemetry you upload, and the sessions and reports built from it, belong to you. You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your files, process them, generate the analysis and coaching, and show it back to you.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train AI models.
AI coaching runs on Anthropic's models, called server-side. Your session data is sent to Anthropic to produce the report and for no other purpose. See the Privacy Policy.
You can export everything — JSON and CSV — from inside the product at any time, on any plan, including after you cancel.
If you create a share link for a session or report, anyone holding that link can see it. That is what the feature is for. Do not create one for data you want to keep private.

6. What you agree not to do

Upload telemetry or other data you have no right to use.
Resell, sublicense or rebrand PURPL, or pass off its output as another product.
Work around usage limits, quotas or plan gates — including by sharing one account across drivers a plan does not cover, or by automating sign-ups.
Scrape the service, hammer it with automated requests, or try to break, probe or reverse-engineer it.
Use it to do anything illegal, or to upload someone else's personal data without a basis for it.

7. The service changes, and sometimes breaks

PURPL is under active development. Features get added, changed and occasionally removed. We try not to break things you depend on, and we will give reasonable notice before removing something significant, but we do not promise any particular feature will exist forever.

We do not offer a guaranteed uptime level. The service is provided as it is, and there will be maintenance, outages and bugs.

8. Ending the agreement

You can stop using PURPL whenever you like, and cancel a paid plan as described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you want your account and data deleted, email info@purpl.app.

We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is being used to abuse the service, or where payment has failed and stayed unpaid. Except where the breach makes it impossible, we will tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.

9. Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and your statutory rights as a consumer.

Beyond that: PURPL is an analysis tool, and we are not liable for lap times, race results, setup decisions, damaged equipment, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Bulgaria, and the courts of Bulgaria have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country, and you can also bring proceedings in the courts where you live.

If something has gone wrong, email info@purpl.app first. Most things are faster to fix directly.

11. Changes to these terms

We can update these terms. The date at the top always says when. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you — by email or in the product — before it applies to you. Continuing to use PURPL after that means you accept the new version.
