Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated

Cancel whenever you want, in two clicks, without emailing anyone or explaining yourself. This page says exactly what happens when you do, and when money comes back.

1. Who you bought from

Your subscription is sold by Solox LTD. (Single-member limited liability company (EOOD)), registration number (UIC) 206020638, Bulgarian Commercial Register (Registry Agency), registered at 27 William Gladstone Str., Triaditsa, 1000 Sofia, Bulgaria. PURPL is its trading name. Payments are processed by Stripe.

2. What you are paying for

A PURPL paid plan is a monthly subscription. It is billed in advance and renews automatically each month until you cancel. Pro is €12/mo at the time of writing. Current prices and what each plan includes are on the pricing page.

The free plan costs nothing and there is nothing to cancel — stop using it, or ask us to delete the account.

3. How to cancel

Either way works, and neither is slower than the other:

  • In the product. Open the app, go to the You screen and choose Manage billing. That opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can cancel, change your payment card and download past invoices.
  • By email. Write to info@purpl.app from the address on your account and ask us to cancel. We will do it and confirm.

We do not ask why, we do not put a retention flow in the way, and we do not require notice.

4. When cancellation takes effect

At the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling does not cut you off mid-month: your plan stays active until the paid period runs out, and only then does the account drop back to the free plan. Nothing further is charged.

So if you are billed on the 3rd and cancel on the 10th, you keep the paid plan until the 3rd of the following month.

5. Your 14-day right of withdrawal (EU and EEA consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you have a legal right to withdraw from a contract for digital services within 14 days of entering into it, without giving a reason.

Some services ask you to tick a box waiving that right so they can start immediately. We do not. If you subscribed within the last 14 days and you want out, email info@purpl.app and say so — a plain statement is enough, no form required. We will cancel the subscription and refund the payment for the current period in full, even if you have already used the paid features.

The 14 days run from the day the subscription starts, which is the day of your first payment. The right applies to a new subscription, not to each automatic monthly renewal of one you already have.

6. Refunds outside those 14 days

After the first 14 days, monthly payments already taken are not automatically refunded — you keep access for the rest of the period instead. That said, ask if something is wrong. We will refund without argument where:

  • you were charged twice, or charged after cancelling;
  • you were billed on the wrong plan or at the wrong price;
  • the service was substantially broken for the period you paid for and we could not fix it.

Anything else is at our discretion, and we would rather solve the underlying problem than keep money from someone who is unhappy. Email info@purpl.app.

Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by anything on this page.

7. How a refund is paid

Always back to the original payment method, through Stripe. We cannot pay a refund to a different card, to a bank account, or as credit.

We process approved refunds within a few working days. After that, how quickly the money appears is up to your bank or card issuer — typically 5 to 10 business days. Stripe emails you when the refund is issued.

8. A refund ends access

If we refund a period, the paid plan for that period ends with it. The account drops to the free plan immediately rather than running to the end of the month.

Your data stays. Sessions, reports and history are not deleted when you cancel or get refunded — they are still there if you come back, subject to whatever the free plan holds. And the one-click export (JSON and CSV) works on every plan, including after you cancel. Taking your data out is not a feature you buy back.

9. If we cancel

If we close or suspend a paid account for a breach of the Terms of Service, we refund the unused part of the current period unless the breach was deliberate abuse of the service.
